You'll get a kick out of the Saturday 10 June TRIPLE Challenge V
High-Tempo Taekwondo, sports massage, Zumba, Spin, Cardio and a wonderful two course buffet are on the agenda for the Downham TRIPLE Challenge V, Saturday 10 June from 1.45 pm at Downham Health and Leisure Centre.
Taekwondo international Bassil Richardson (2 Dan) will be putting participants through their paces with all new High-Tempo-Taekwondo!
Lewisham born-and bred Basil is an instructor at Nomad Taekwondo. A well known community-figure, he leads classes for all ages and standards every Saturday at Downham Health & Leisure Centre. He has competed in Korea (silver medal) and is a leading tournament referee. "You'll use muscles you don't normally use!" he promises. Bassil will also be taking part in the other challenges and bringing along some other instructors and members. "We are all about community and happy to support this great community initiative," he says.
Also joining Basil is top Zumba instructor Ana Sampaio. Ana is well-known for her energetic sessions and choreography.
Leading an ultimate fitness session will be Sharon Plant. Sharon's sessions are upbeat - both in terms of tempo and vibe - and regularly oversubscribed.
Spin Steve returns with the Spin Soca Challenge. Great music and a great workout guarenteed!
And Claire will be leading us through challenging cardio circuits with her customary grit and wit!
To sooth those muscles we will be offering sports and remedial massage courtesy of specialist Lisa MacLean.
And to refuel after the exertions of the The Downham TRIPLE Challenge there will be a two course Carribean inspired hot buffet with meat and vegetarian options as well as dessert.
